ANTHONY NOVAC

Anthony Novac is the President of Sonco Gaming Inc., a casino management and development company with a history of successful Indigenous partnerships.  Sonco Gaming Inc. developed Canada’s first First Nation casino – The Great Blue Heron Casino on Mississaugas of Scugog Island land – and also developed and managed The Grey Eagle Resort & Casino on Tsuut’ina land and managed The River Cree Resort & Casino on Enoch land. More recently, Anthony and Sonco led the acquisition of Pure Casinos,  Alberta’s largest casino company, on behalf of Indigenous Gaming Partners Inc., a partnership comprising 5 First Nations. Anthony is a frequent speaker on land-based gaming, iGaming, and the potential opportunity for First Nations participation in the Canadian gaming landscape.
