ERIC ZAKREWSKI

Eric Zakrewski is the Chief Executive Officer of Phoenix Consulting, a boutique professional project and management consulting services firm based out of Thunder Bay, Ontario specializing in advancing major infrastructure projects, government relations and complex environmental assessment, permitting and approvals work.  Much of Eric’s 30+ years of practice has been focused on serving Indigenous Communities, Municipalities, Mining Companies and Government. Eric has held senior positions at two of the largest engineering firms globally and was the founder and CEO of True Grit Engineering, a team of 60 professionals located in three offices across Ontario specializing in Civil, Planning, Environmental, Survey and Transportation project delivery for over 15 years. During that tenure, Eric has also had the pleasure of serving as CEO of four northwestern Ontario based and Indigenous Community owned Joint-Venture engineering firms that successfully advanced over 100M in infrastructure and environmental projects to completion.  Eric has a proven track-record of managing and delivering complex projects involving a wide variety of stakeholders, regulatory regimes, and government relations.
