CANADA'S MOST GROUNDBREAKING ECONOMIC FORUM

The First Nations Investment Forum (FNIF 2025) is now accepting speaker proposals for its inaugural national conference. We invite leaders, experts, and innovators from Indigenous communities, industry, finance, government, and academia to share their insights, strategies, and experiences.

This first-of-its-kind forum—led and organized by First Nations—will convene key decision-makers to accelerate Indigenous investment, ownership, and economic sovereignty.

This landmark gathering will bring together Indigenous governments, economic development corporations, high-growth project proponents, institutional investors, and policymakers to build the partnerships and policy momentum that will shape Canada’s financial future.

SPEAKER CRITERIA

WHO SHOULD APPLY

We welcome speaker proposals from First Nations leaders, Indigenous entrepreneurs, investment professionals, legal experts, policymakers, economists, project developers, and researchers. We are particularly interested in proposals that explore Indigenous-led approaches to infrastructure financing, economic policy, capital innovation, and long-term project development.

PREFERRED TOPICS

We are particularly interested in speakers who can provide thought leadership and insights on topics including, but not limited to:

INDIGENOUS EQUITY INVESTMENTS & PARTNERSHIPS
Best practices, trends, and success stories Indigenous investment.

FINANCING & INVESTMENT STRATEGIES
Approaches for securing and structuring Indigenous investment.

BANKING & FINANCIAL INFRASTRUCTURE
The evolving role of financial institutions in Indigenous business.

EMERGING MARKETS & OPPORTUNITIES
High-growth sectors, industry advancements, and new investment frontiers.

POLICY & REGULATORY CONSIDERATIONS
Government policies and frameworks impacting future Indigenous investment and financial structures.
